Hello, my name is Adrian Herring.

I haven’t lived in Namibia…

                                                …or the USA…

                                                                          …but I have lived and worked in several other countries.

I graduated from London’s Royal College of Art (School of Film and Television). My TV producing and directing career took me first to SABC South Africa, then to BBC Scotland:  documentary and long-form current affairs programmes being the principal activity.

Then to ABC Australia; SBC/TCS Singapore; and SBS Australia:  mainly current affairs production, in various roles – director, associate producer, trainer and executive producer.

I’ve also worked some years in the government/corporate media production space.

With Journocam Productions, I’ve developed and produced documentaries; freelanced for various broadcasters and production houses; and lectured at tertiary levels.

Recently I contracted out as series producer for 100 short history programmes, for the European SVOD channel “Toute L’Histoire”.

In 2022/23, associate producer on a 6 x 50-minute history series for international distribution through WildBear Entertainment.
